Dog Meet Sheep

Posted on: | Category:

Not far from home, we are lucky enough to have a large stately home (well, not quite stately, but not far off) which, on top of having some fantastic gardens, also has an open dog playfield, where they can get off the lead and run around a bit.

Today was the first day it opened since lockdown started, so we had to get the dogs out for a run-around.

The field next to the dog area has some new inhabitants, sheep! And not your usual super shy sheep, these woolly jumpers had no fear of anyone. As soon as we arrived, they were over having a look. And, of course, It didn't take long for the dogs to spot them!

You'd expect the sheep to make a swift exit... Oh no, not this lot. Not even Bea and her barking bothered them; they seemed to like it. If you watch very carefully, near the start, as Bea runs off to the left, you'll see she's chasing a little field mouse.
